Hudefella

is the artist name of Daniel Grau (44), painter and graphic artist from Hamburg. He is known for his colourful and expressive paintings and wooden sculptures, which often contain elements from pop culture, music and graffiti/street art.

He has exhibited at the Barlach Halle K and the Vicious Gallery, both in Hamburg, among others. His style is inspired by artists such as Basquiat, Haring and Picasso. He uses various materials and techniques, such as acrylic, oil, spray cans, collages and stencils.

Daniel Grau is one of the up-and-coming talents on the contemporary art scene in Germany. His paintings are influenced by his home in Hamburg and by long stays in Thailand and Cyprus.

Together with two partners, he ran the Vicious Gallery in Hamburg from 2006 to 2014, the first art gallery in Hamburg for street art and graffiti art.
